Jon Dennis began his djing career in 1988 during London's fabled summer of love after growing up listening to acid house sounds in clubs like The Hippodrome, Spectrum and Pyramid.
His wide range of musical influences include Yello, Club 69, Joey Negro, Chic, , Danny Tenaglia and Giorgio Moroder to name a few. He currently specialises in seriously funky uplifting peak time sets and also delves into techno, trance and hardhouse.
He has held residencies at Heaven in London since 1990, playing all styles of music from house to techno and disco to handbag, but more recently has settled very nicely into a renowned thumping funky influenced sound incorporating disco, vocals, latino and tribal house rhythms and attention grabbing theatrical breaks.
In 1998 he started work for DJ Blu Peter at the now legendary Melt night at Turnmills in London. He now guests regularly for Coco Latté in the UK and abroad, and in August 2001 he headlined for the second time at the huge Manchester Gayfest event playing to over 5000 people.

In 1999 he started producing in the studio, working his own unique brand of magic on such artists as Twisted, Jamiroquai, Livin Joy and Incognito. In August 2001 his remix of Angie Brown's Knock On Wood was played by Club 69 producer Peter Rauhofer at The Roxy in New York and was also picked as the opening track for the special Manchester Gayfest double album released in November 1999.
