Jonny M is exploding through the ranks of the UK gay club scene with phenomenal speed.

2009 has seen Jonny has played to crowds of over 6,000, and represent clubbing heavyweights such as Matinee, Wild Fruit and Trade.

At just 23 Jonny is the youngest DJ on the Evolved Events roster, but he’s also one of the most in-demand. He already has a wealth of experience, having played in clubs and bars in London from the age of 17.

Kick-starting his house DJing career with a weekly residency at the South Coast’s biggest gay venue, Club Revenge, Jonny M quickly gained a reputation for energetic DJ sets and top tune selection.
Within months he’d been spotted by Brighton’s biggest gay club promotions team, Wild Fruit, who snapped him up for a residency at Rebel, the official Wild Fruit afterhours.

Jonny M is also a resident at the Honeyclub, voted in the top clubs in the world by DJ Mag, and has recently guested at Wild Fruit Manchester, Floorplay, BPM, Kinky Dangerous, Organic, Trade, Monkey, Fitladz, Sunday Sundae and Matinee London.

He’s played at clubs including Digital, Arc, The Coalition and Audio in Brighton, Ministry of Sound and Cable in London and Essential in Manchester, to name but a few. He’s also played to 6,000 capacity audiences on two occasions at the Wild Fruit Big Top dance tent at Brighton Pride.

His style of music varies from party to party, but he has an ear for big vocals, techy synths, and funky basslines, or more underground, deeper tech house for afterhours sessions.

As well as picking up the Best Male DJ award at the Gscene/REALBrighton.com awards in 2008, Jonny enjoys a career as a freelance nightlife journalist, having interviewed the likes of Danny Tenaglia, Prok & Fitch and Quentin Harris.

Jonny has also promoted several successful clubnights including an underground gay night Prototype at Digital, and Nik Denton’s popular Organic afterhours party in Brighton.
